short and quiet
While the property was more than adequate, and clean the process to get it was much to complex and convoluted. All these codes, apps, complex waiting and finding sites was way over my comuter skills. With no smart phone ownweship it was at times a nightmare,

Nice place as Advertised
Looked at many properties and went with this one. It has a great location. Please note about the water in the back. It all depends on the weather, and it was very low when we were there. There are other areas close by to Kayak. The only issues we saw were the floors themselves and where the garbage is. The floor was sticky and did not feel as it had been cleaned well, In the garbage drawer, there was trash that had not been taken out. The only other issue is that the shower curtain is too short, and water will easily go under the curtain out to the floor. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay!

Nice place but wouldn't book based upon kayak availability
This place was close to a dead end, in a quiet neighborhood from what we could tell. We had no issues with noise. Area around the house was clean and well kept. Granted we didn't spend a whole lot of time in this home other than to sleep, shower and get ready for the next day. Originally I booked this place hoping to take advantage of the kayak use. The canal wasn't clean like the picture provided reflect(maybe it's the angle it was taken. Then someone reminded me we were in a the place known for alligator attacks the desire was no more. A little bumbed though, not a deal breaker for me as we had plenty to do. If this is high priority in your choice of booking this place, you might want to rethink. The beds were comfortable, TV has may SmartTV options, furniture is comfortable and if your going to cook, it has most basic things one may need. Normally pretty quick response times to questions from whoever was in charge of the booking. Overall a good place to stay for the price.

They will charge you for extra fees- not clean/not maintained well.
The neighborhood is not impressive pulling up. It is actually tiny block houses, almost doll like. The house itself was not terrible overall, but it was definitely not clean or maintained well. I failed to notice this was “pet friendly” which is my fault. However, there was dog hair covering every surface of everything. I swept a huge pile of hair up when we got there. It’s advertised as being able to kayak there. Not being native to Florida lifestyle, that sounds fun, but there are actually HUGE gators in that lake. I looked it up and there were reported deaths and last year a 607 pound gator was removed from there. We saw several while staying there. So, don’t expect to be going in those kayaks, unless your not fond of your limbs or life. It reminds me of the “landlords special” where they duct tape things and paint over windows, light switches, that sort of thing. You are unable to open the windows, and the toilet paper holder was placed on the edge of a corner of the bathroom shower that when touched it immediately fell off the wall. We went down for our own wedding and had lots to do, I didn’t think it necessary to complain when overall it was fine for the price I suppose so I just left the situation alone. We returned from our trip to get a message that we “ripped the toilet paper holder off the wall” and they were charging us $65 dollars to fix this. Anyone else that has stayed there will agree this is just not a true statement. We are not barbarians.

not what pictured
We booked a vacation hoping to do some kayaking and paddle boarding. The canal shown is NOT what is there.. These people literally stole our vacation. The canal had about 4 inches of water , if that, turtles were walking, serious!! It was full of weeds, algaue etc. You can not kayak here at all. The back deck was full of down branches and bird droppings. We talked to a neighbor, they havent dredged the canal in years he said. It was pretty disappointing, as again I work hard and that is what I wanted to do, get up drink coffee head out in the kayak.. DID NOT happen!! The house itself is nice inside, clean etc, neighborhood not so much. trash everywhere. cars parked everywhere.. I think they need to update their photo.. We did take pics I would look elsewhere if you want to do water sports.. as this place is not what is listed

Bird Estuary
We enjoyed staying at this property. The home is very comfortable and the neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed the wildlife in the backyard waterway. There were many different birds including ducks, herons and large black birds with red beaks, and turtles. Bird song in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Winter Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable and beautiful home. There were so many birds, I even had an egret peaking around my laptop at me while I caught up on some work! Wrong time of year for us to enjoy fishing the canal but we did try out Seminole Lake. All in all, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Great bird watching
This was a great getaway house, close to several parks that made daily walks very enjoyable. We also enjoyed watching all the birds in back. It is in a congested neighborhood, but very quiet at night.
