"Some of the staff are wonderful here. Pool bar staff was great. In the past the front desk staff was so welcoming. This trip I felt like an inconvenience at checkin."

"This was a lovely hotel with just what we needed. The pool was nice. Bed was comfy, rooms had everything including a little kitchen and washer/dryer. The staff was always very helpful! We would def book here again."

"The price was very affordable. In saying that...the room was nice, the bed was comfortable enough. The outside light was all night through thin curtains. The breakfast was OK. Waffles were the only hot choice and only syrup as a topping. No yogurt or fruit. Nice stay and probably the stay coincided with the price. I did not get to go in the pool."

"The room was clean but the floor could have been cleaner. I took my shoes off at the door but I still had to keep a towel by the bed to wipe my feet before getting into bed. I was there to for a short stay and didn't really get to use the amenities because I was busy elsewhere. But it seems like they would be nice if I was actually there for relaxation and fun. Didn't love that I had to pay for parking on top of resort fees and accommodations cost."

"I was recommended by a co-worker to stay at the Avalon Hotel and I am 100% happy with the decision to do so. I stayed in one of the one bedroom suites and it was so clean, cozy and close enough to most places downtown to walk to and great restaurant attached to the Avalon, coffee shop and other great amenities! I will be back to stay again."

"This was a very peaceful stay. There is a club on site so there is music playing until about 3am but I have insomnia so it didn’t bother me. As a woman traveling solo, I felt very safe. The staff was very friendly. Amelia was super sweet and helpful. I would stay here again."
