It's a 10 minute walk to a beach, and while there are some local bars nearby, it's just a short drive to Holetown or Fits village where there and lots of places to eat and supermarkets. "We love soo many thing about this property. The location is ideal. Easy access to the main highway, Oistins Friday Night Fish Fry, the airport, grocery, dining, entertainment, you name it. Rena is an EXCELLENT host and VERY easy to communicate with. The property is beautifully decorated with lush tropical plants and the wading pool reminds you the beaches are just a few minutes away. "We had a lovely stay at Ancient Grove! The large outside balcony/living area had an amazing view were we enjoyed meals and just hanging out with the family! Pool area was also beautiful and a nice area to relax at the end of the day. Definitely need a car to get around, highly recommend the close by nature preserve, tons of monkeys and other cool animals. The house has some Eco/features such as solar heated water which add to the charm, but we did have some lukewarm showers. Overall super cool...

"I travel to Barbados every year and never stayed at this hotel. I have to say that the hospitality at this hotel is beyond excellence the only complaint I have is the fact that for me as a solo traveler I did not like the idea of my terrace facing someone else’s…they can literally look into my room from their room. The room was always cleaned and well maintained. Other than this, I absolutely loved this hotel and would t recommend it! "
