Very comfortable well equipped room. Everything worked as it should (pleasantly surprised to have a toaster, kettle & tea pot, dishes/utensils, plus a Keurig style coffee maker). Friendly check-in. Exterior could use a refresh, but no complaints.

The outside and lobby are nothing special, but we were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room. Three full double beds in two rooms made for a comfortable stay. Loved the high ceilings and high-end shower. The mini-kitchen facilities were great. The staff were easily accessible.

The room was tidy and clean. The bed was comfortable and front desk was nice. However it was too noisy at night with the sounds of fridge, air conditioner and something else like a motor. We could also hear people talking/walking/coughing/using the bathroom. Overall it’s not for you if you’re sensitive to noise like me, otherwise it’s good for the price.

We had a wonderful stay at Motel Magistral as a stopover on a road trip. The outside doesn’t give any hint to how nice the inside rooms are. Our room was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated and included small extras like a toaster and hit chocolate. The owners were available but not intrusive. The value for cost cannot be beat. We would happily come back to stay if we’re ever out that way again!

Family of 4 on our way to a Gaspe tour, coming from Ottawa. We stopped for one night at this motel. Nice and clean room, comfortable beds. I liked that there was a microwave, fridge, small coffee machine and kettle in our room. Check in and check out very quick and convenient. All very good for the price we paid. I'd change the blue on the walls, but that's just a designer's opinion.
