Margorie, the Concierge, was so helpful with great ideas, and her quick ability to answer our questions was super. The folks at the desk warmly welcomed us after a long day of travel. As for Mathew, we wanted to wrap him up and bring him home---he made each interaction feel so personal. He was able to turn lemons into lemonade on the one day when our rental car did not show up--the three friends traveling can't thank Mathew enough. A beautiful stay, and I can't wait to return! PS I don't know if Chez Muffy is independent of the hotel or owned by the hotel, but we ate breakfast there one morning and it was less than stellar---2 stars out of 5---the food was OK, the service was terrible, but, the restaurant space was lovely. The expense was not worth it. "
