Lovely well located home

Dawn’s property was well situated in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to everything the islands holds. Loved our stay. The home was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities needed for a family beach vacation. Thank you for a great 10 days.

Perfect Beach Vacation

Perfect rental for our beach trip. Clean, spacious, & comfortable. The host provided everything you needed for the rental. We will try to make this an annual trip if this rental is available. I never had a more relaxing, quiet time on a beach trip before this trip.

SSI Vacation

Was very pleased with our stay at Coastal Haven. Had everything we needed at the house and was close to the beach, parks, and the pier. Will check for vacancy next time we go to SSI.

Awesome place to stay

This home was great. Clean and spacious for my entire family. We loved it. We had never been to the island before and we loved the beaches and laid back atmosphere. I would recommend this property to anyone.

3-day golf outing, convenient to everything, wonderful, would be happy to recommend and stay again

Perfect; would recommend to any family or friends, walking distance to east beach or the Mallory street cafe and the pier, close to some of the best golf courses I've ever played. Will be happy to return and hopefully do so shortly! Thank you Dawn for allowing us to stay and play!

Wonderful, clean home!

We had such a good stay at this house! The place was clean and comfortable, with a nice screened-in back porch perfect for morning coffee. Location was great - a little far of a walk to the beach for our 5-year-old but a really quick trip by car or golf cart. Neighborhood is quiet and close to the village. Owner was responsive. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Base of Operations!

This lovely home was just the perfect base of operations for our annual girls adventure vacation! So close to both Jekyl Island for an 18 mile cycling experience. Cumberland Island makes a wonderful day trip with lots to offer for any nature lover! Coastal Haven is a short bike ride away from great restaurants and the Barrier Island Brewery! Thanks to our terrific host, Dawn!!

Relaxing house for an escape to SSI

We stayed at Coastal Haven for 2 nights while attending a wedding in St. Simons in April 2015. It was in a good location (just 10 minute walk to the beach), and on a very quiet street, making our stay very relaxing! The master suite was so comfortable, and had plenty of storage and closet space. Overall the house was clean with modern furnishings, and served the purposes of our visit. Thanks for letting us stay with you while in SSI!

Coastal Haven

We had an amazing time at the Coastal Haven on St. Simon's Island. The location was perfect and we walked to the beach multiple times each day. Restaurants were also within walking distance or a very short drive which was great for our family with kids. Communication with the owner was extremely fast and pleasant, all instructions for the location were thorough and well thought out. We used most of the recommendations given and were not disappointed with any of them. We will definitely be back. Thanks.

Beautiful vacation home on a most special island!

This home was perfect! Dawn and Bob were absolutely amazing, immediately responsive throughout the process, gracious and have thought of everything in this home. My family of two four year old twin girls, husband, my mom and myself spent 3 weeks here (July 10-31). It was amazing to have so much time to hit the pause button on life and take in the fun and beauty of Saint Simons Island and the surrounding area. When I would suggest an excursion or activity it seemed like it was almost a 4 minute drive or 10-20 walk away LOL—that’s how conveniently located the house is! We bought a membership to Neptune Park Fun Zone since we were there so long and it was wonderful to be just minutes away so that we could spend a couple hour there each day and still get to the beach (which was also right there), walk around town or wash up and visit nearby Jekyll! We did so many things while there—-sunrise and sunset walks on the many beaches, shelling, Neptune Park Fun Zone, walked up to the top of the SSI Lighthouse (twice!! My girls were obsessed with the history of the area even at 4!), visited Fort Frederica, Christ Church grounds, the Georgia Turtle Center, the fishing pier, several restaurants (although we used the VERY WELL appointed kitchen and grill most meals—literally everything you need is in the kitchen!) and so much more! We even did a couple trips into Jacksonville to the Zoo twice—once for the Friday night Illumizoo event and once to spend the day—really a very beautiful zoo. We also did a day trip to Savannah and enjoyed a sunset dinner on the decks of Coco’s Sunset Grille in Tybee Island—-it’s really THAT convenient and centrally located. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We had two little girls and my mom on this trip and easily could have brought my two young adult sons and STILL not been in each others way. There’s a beautiful screened in porch (there’s even ceiling fans and a TV out theremy husband spend many an evening out there post dinner enjoying a beverage and his book or a game on TV and I spent many a morning there with my book before breakfast), huge open living room and lovely dining area right off the well-stocked kitchen. My husband has already asked me if I have already booked a return trip for next summer because we enjoyed this trip that much. We even got my dad and step mom to drive down for the weekend (they stayed at King and Prince-4 minutes away!). Can’t wait to go back! Thanks for perfection!

Great SSI House!

We were looking for a place that was pet friendly and also near other family members vacation homes. This house was excellent for our 4th of July vacation. As a bonus, the next door neighbors were friendly and helpful too! We plan to be back.

Wonderful single level dwelling on St Simon’s Island

The house was perfect for our family vacation. The owner was responsive and answered all of my questions. The house was a corner lot on a quiet street across from a beautiful park. We walked every morning. The location was convenient to shops, restaurants and the beach.

Comfortable, clean, cute, & great communication

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this SSI house. It was cute and clean. The bedrooms were very spacious and attractive. Our dog loved the back yard and I napped on the screened porch couch more than once. Kitchen has everything you need and we cooked some at the house. SSI has the BEST restaurants (which we knew from having visited before). but we wanted to keep dining out to once a day this time. Having a Keurig was a treat. It's approximately a 1-mile walk to the village. There's a nice park nearby, with a dog park, pickle ball courts, etc. Communication with the owner was great, she's so nice. Would stay there again!

Quiet & Private

We loved our stay! The house is at the end of a very quiet street and the park is right next to it. Easy to walk to restaurants and close to the beach. The have a fully stocked kitchen and a grill with plenty of propane. The outside shower is on the back corner of the house and private. We used it to clean up after being at the beach all day. We are definitely coming back!
