"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"Just a lovely gite inside Turckheim’s old walls, wonderful shower, nice kitchen, very quiet and comfortable, plenty of space for a couple with a few small kids. The only negative was limited parking right near the gite, but plenty of parking a 3-4 minute walk away just outside the old town wall. We’ll definitely be going back here!!"

"We stayed in The Cozy Nest for 4 nights. It is in a quaint town and was just as advertised. Extremely clean. It felt like home after a long day of sightseeing. The hosts were very unintrusive but available if needed. I would highly reccomend this property. The backery down the street has the best pastries!"

The house is cosy and confy , jacqueline was a attentionated host, the house was decorated for christmas and she baked some delicious biscuit for ourself and our dog.the location is perfecg for visiting all the stunning village around and their christmas market. A lovely area surrended by montain and nature. We strongly recommand."

"Der Gastgeber David empfing uns sehr herzlich. Er sorgte für die Anwesenheit seiner deutschsprachigen Cousine, da er meinte, sein eigenes Deutsch sei nicht so gut. Obwohl es nicht nötig war, fanden wir es sehr aufmerksam. Das Haus ist Davids Elternhaus (sein Vater hieß Tony, daher "chez Tony"), es ist groß und sowohl schön als auch gut ausgestattet. "Quel beau séjour dans un milieu enchanteur avec un accueil exceptionnel. Belle maison dont les rénovations démontrent un soucis d'authenticité située dans un petit village fleuri départ de quelques sentiers de marche, en fête la nuit du 13 juillet, et située près des nombreuses attractions d'Alsace."

"This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken. "

Elle m’avait donné tous les contacts pour le traiteur (tout était délicieux), la brasserie locale (la bière a été apprécié à l’unanimité), la boulangerie,… cela m’a beaucoup facilité l’organisation! Le cadre est top, je recommande la visite de la chèvrerie, la cascade du cuisinier et le domaine Beaucerf! Tout le monde a adoré le week-end, on a passé un super moment, je recommande vivement ! "This is a charming little house with old bones and modern comforts (plumbing, windows, cooktop). You can hear the village church bells and the swifts that nest in the eaves. The hosts are lovely people who gave good advice on the local area. Bear in mind that almost everything is closed on Sundays and business hours are more limited than you may be used to.
