"We had a wonderful stay. The hostess, Régine, is very warm and welcoming. The house is very well equipped, especially for families with little ones. The two adult bikes (each with a child seat) were in great condition (we did bring a helmet for our toddler). The kitchen has everything except spices and paper towels. "Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"Loved the location. Great communication. Free use of bikes. Nice washing machine for our dirty clothes. Clean. Lots of dishes for our breakfasts and tea. Best place so far this summer. (The stairs were steep up to the 3rd level for the kids - if they were younger I would have been concerned.)"

"This house has everything you need for a vacation. 30-45 minutes away from the beach. The Shower is newly made. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because, in the Toilett is actually Mold on the wall and the Vacuum is very old, so its hard to work with it. But besides that, everything was fine and we really recommend this House"

"We 4 retired ladies from the USA enjoyed our 12 night stay in this apartment. The location was great. We could easily walk to the main squares, the canals, the museums and good restaurants. We were in a quiet neighborhood. A grocery store was nearby. We appreciated having a washer and a dryer. "My wife and I stayed here with our grandchildren we all loved it. Plenty of room and 3 balconies. Very comfy beds and nice sized bedrooms. Only Downside is the steep stairs and the toilet is downstairs so going to the loo on a night is a bit of a problem but apart from that everything was good. Very near to the beach and restaurants and very good Baker. Bonus 2 bicycles for your use, excellent for the trip to the bakery"

"Recently had a long weekend here and it really is a fabulous place to stay. Situated just outside Blankenberge, it is a perfect location for the beaches, the lovely bars and restaurants in the town centre (some of the best food in Europe) and also a great base for adventuring to other towns and cities. "We spent a week in the house, discovering the area of De Haan. The house was clean and fitted our needs perfectly. We chose it also because of the garden as we travelled with our dog. The beach is less than 2km away which makes for a nice walk. The communication with the owner was easy, he got back to us quickly.
