"This is a very reasonably priced hotel for Zurich but it is very basic and not well equipped, 1 mug, 1 large plate and 1 small plate - all for 2 people. The shower cabinet was missing part of a door so didn’t close the whole way and no where to hang wet towels. Also the bed is in a corner so one person has to climb in and out from the bottom. It is fine for a brief stay and the bedding was clean. On the plus side there is a 24 hour shop underneath so breakfast was on hand - fresh croissant and...

"The location was amazing, even though the road to the house is up the hill, on top of a mountain and very narrow. 2 cars cannot pass each other when the road is at 4000 ft elevation. The listing was wrong. "Owners are a very nice, friendly couple. Remote location from Luzern. No breakfast but were offered free coffee or tea. Ten francs to use grill. Shared bath (not private as advertised). Room size OK for two but "No picnic in room!" We did not see any "free toiletries" and initially were provided only one bath towel to use for two people."

"This was a lovely hotel. Great location (literally steps away from public transit and grocery stores) with a nice garden out front. The room was nicely furnished and had a handy microwave and fridge. The hotel also had a laundry room. The only thing stopping this hotel from getting a 4 star was the shower. The shower could not maintain a constant temperature and would fluctuate constantly from freezing cold to scorching hot without touching the controls. "
