Nestled in the South River Valley in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, South River Cottage, a completely private home, is situated between Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, VA. The Cottage has been newly renovated, refurnished and expanded to accommodate even the most discriminating guests.
The newly added sun porch features a convertible couch with a fold out queen sized bed and incredible mountain views from all windows.
The east wing of the cottage features the Master bedroom with king bed and large closet, the Guest bedroom with queen bed and large closet and a third bedroom with bunk beds.
The expanded Kitchen features a breakfast bar, island & granite counters, gas stove, microwave, toaster, Keurig, dishwasher, & French door refrigerator over freezer drawer and a stacked washer & dryer unit in the kitchen closet. The kitchen opens into the Family Room where a large sectional couch; 42" flat screen Dish TV with streaming services available are located.
The semi-formal dining room seats six; with views of the mountains and is connected to the Great Room where there is a convertible couch: queen size fold out, a laptop friendly workspace with space for a computer, comfortable chairs to relax in and a 42" flat screen Dish TV with online streaming services available.
Weather permitting; an outside patio area, with cushioned furniture, is located on the west side of the Cottage and offers unbelievable views of the evening sunsets.
The Cottage also features:

• Plenty of towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper
• Safety equipment including a fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors and a First aid kit
