"When I first saw this place on VRBO I was excited, being a former pastor. The host was very nice and flexible with us when our arrival time was delayed. However, we both felt a little uneasy. The walkway back to the entrance is a little odd. I wouldn't have wanted to walk it after dark. It's hard to put a finger on, but I just couldn't completely relax. "Everything about this place and caretaker was top flight. I have stayed at many places in Europe and this place cannot be topped. Everything one would want (restaurants, groceries, drinks, goods, etc.) are just a block or two away. Very quiet building and the street, for being downtown, is quieter than most others. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time"

"We loved it and would not hesitate in coming back. Everything we needed supplied. Hot tub was particularly special. Full SKY package was a nice surprise. Lovely, spacious, tidy grounds. Very quiet area. Beds a bit soft for my liking but still comfortable. Wifi details supplied didnt work but used details on the router and all was fine. A bit rushed in the morning, 12, or even 11am checkout time would have been better. Overall, 99% happy. Defo stay more than two nights next time"

"I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. Our cottage was very spacious, clean, airy, great kitchen and despite its perceived isolation had all possible amenities. Very nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. "Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness."
