Charming 1-bedroom cabin in pleasant Critz for a cozy getaway

"I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin is beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very thoughtfully furnished. It’s on the owner’s property in a very rural, wooded setting, but still feels private and secluded. The setting was exactly what I was looking for. The cabin itself is small enough to feel cozy without feeling cramped. The living area is surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable couch and a full kitchen equipped with nice, newer appliances. There’s a large refrigerator, a washer and dryer, and even coffee and creamer already on hand—which was a very nice touch. The bathroom is beautiful as well, with a spacious walk-in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. I have to emphasize how clean this place was. Everything was immaculate, and it was obvious that the cabin is well cared for. It’s also very nicely furnished without feeling overly decorated or like a generic rental. It really feels like someone put thought into making the space comfortable and welcoming. The owner was just as impressive as the property. He was incredibly friendly, personable, and easy to communicate with, and he made sure I had all the information I needed before and during my stay. Just an all-around genuinely good guy. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place away from the hustle and bustle, I would absolutely recommend staying here!"

"This tiny how was amazing! The location was gorgeous and so peaceful. Tiny was very clean and well maintained. The location was close to Ferrum College, where I spent a lot of time. Terri was the perfect host and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you again Terri, for an amazing retreat!"

"Very well laid out and incredibly clean. We've spent a weekend in that area for the past 7 years and this was by far the best place we've stayed. Hopefully this will be our spot for the upcoming years."

"Enjoyed the cabin very much. My twin granddaughters had the loft to themselves and loved it. Very close to the park entrance, made it very convenient. Would recommed the cabin to anyone wanting to enjoy Fairy Stone National Park."

"Absolutely loved this little piece of paradise. We especially loved that we were able to have our furbabies with us. We love the fenced in wrap around porch, which I think our furbabies loved even more. Even though we were staying during a drought, it didn't matter. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was. We lived the story behind this little barnhouse which made it that more special. We pray that Bassett gets the much needed rain that it needs. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with our family."
