We loved staying at Mountain Memories! The cabin was spotless and cozy. We loved walking down to the donkeys and Highland cows. We’ll definitely be back!
This was a very nice place, perfect for the 4 of us. A bathroom in each room was an added bonus. The donkey wakeup call in the morning was cute, we all laughed. The owner Timmy was super nice and helpful! We would stay here again if we came back :)

My family totally enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Memories Cabin. Timmy was very helpful with directions and chatting with us during our stay. The cabin is quite nice including the deck with a view of the forest behind. We would highly recommend this cabin to others.

This property was perfectly located for either seclusion or for visiting beautiful Daniel Boone back country. Near small towns that offer very good dining options. Will be rebooking in April and again May if dates are open.
The house was so beautiful and comfy we didn't want to leave! The host, Timmy was so nice. My daughter and I both said "I could live here!" when we walked through the door the first time. We hope to come back some day. I'll be planning my vacations around the availability of this cabin.
Beautiful new country cabin! Tim and Pam are amazing hosts! Our granddaughter loved feeding the donkeys next door and making new friends! The Red River Gorge area is beautiful- we recommend Creation Falls and Skybridge trail. So much to do!
We enjoy stay at the Mountain Memories Cabin.. easy to get here, quite place, The host communication was +1, The cabin had everything we need to cook, comfortable beds, hot water, close enough to get to the Natural Bridge Trail, Gray’s Arch and all the trail. Kroger is about 12 minutes, where we did our grocery. Definitely I will stay here again…
This Cabin is beautiful and very clean. The two bedrooms with private bathrooms are great for two couples or a family. Timmy Tipton is a wonderful Host. After telling him that my Granddaughter loves donkeys, he brought us donkey treats and walked us across the yard and into the field with three of the four donkeys. My two Grandchildren loved petting and feeding the donkeys. The three adults were pretty happy also.
This property was awesome!! It was a little bit out but I have no regrets. It was clean. It was cozy. It had everything you needed and then some. The owner was very communicative. My whole experience was 2 👍👍. I would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was great. Communication is difficult as cell signals are spotty and there is no WiFi. However, the property owner was quick to reply once messages went through. All the little details were taken care of including firewood and donkey treats.
A friend and I stayed here when visiting Red River Gorge to do some hiking. The cabin is fabulous! Two good-sized bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom. The kitchen has all you need in terms of dishes and cooking utensils/pans. There was a lovely back porch and fire pit in the front. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated for the season. We appreciated those little touches. The host, Tim, was very responsive and helpful. He met us when we checked in, introduced us to the donkeys and cows next door, and even let us feed the donkeys. Total bonus! We hiked the Double Arch, Courthouse Rock, and Auxier Ridge Loop. The cabin was a 40-minute drive from the trailhead. It's a relaxing place to stay. I'd definitely come back, and hopefully stay for longer so I can take advantage of the cabin more.
The owner Tim was Very kind and prompt in returning calls. He was easy to work with my changes and his home was Lovely. I am considered "picky" and a "neat freak!" Tim's home was perfect for me!
The GPS took me pass his home, almost to the end of the road, but Tim kept in close contact with me and I made it back with no problem.
My ONLY problem was driving on the NARROW, Windy roads- in my truck, going up the mountain. I had one close encounter with a fast traveler, but praise God we survived our 5 days stay. Returning home at night made it easier to see headlights coming around the curves.
Traveling in a smaller vehicle would have been less frightening!
We really didn't get to enjoy the lovely home, due to the long meetings we came up for, which put us back to our resting place after 9pm. It was worth it for me to know that I was coming back to a clean, peaceful resting place!
