"This was a great “Cabin in the woods!” It has a very warm and cozy feeling. It’s very quiet, with an amazing view of the mountain from the balcony. Shawn was very prompt is answering any question and even called to make sure we made it in OK. It’s about a 45min drive to Jackson Hole through the pass, along the Snake River. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils you need and the washer and dryer came in very handy!! The only downside for us was, this cabin does not have an AC and makes no mention of it in the write up. Being from Texas, we’d almost die without it. The cabin does stay cooler than expected, but at night, even with the windows open, there is no air flow because there are no fans in the bedrooms, except for the one upstairs in the loft that makes a constant whining noise. We bought one from the local hardware store. Keeping a box fan in each bedroom closet would be a good idea during the summer months. Having said all that, we would definitely consider staying here again, as it is very clean with great charm and quiet surroundings."

"Property was clean, well stocked, and easy to find. We were not informed that there was no air conditioning, and that was a problem. Amenities were adequate. Railing on the steep steps leading into the property was loose, and needs repaired. For the price, we certainly expected more. The property was comfortable, area information was adequate. Would give an overall rating of 4."

"Would definitely stay again. Minor hiccup with check-in, which was quickly resolved with a phone call. Listing says A/C- I don't think so. Wasn't a problem during our stay (it was pleasantly cool), but if it had been blazing hot, this could have been an issue. Bathroom was a pleasant surprise, nicely setup and stocked. If I was staying again, I'd probably opt for a unit with an attached bathroom though. Road noise was not an issue for us- it died down a lot at night. It wasn't the road that woke me up in the morning, it was the moo'ing cows LOL. Excellent value for the money in this area."
