"The property was great for our dog, but it's a very urban environment and we dealt with it. Room was roomy and super clean. Staff was Extremely Helpful with the very difficult parking situation. There's a city garage a short walk away you would have to use M-F but we got lucky and got a street spot in front of the door on a Sunday night. We were there for a concert and would go back here for the next good show in Gainesville."

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made check-in easy. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and I appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the room. "This has been my go-to hotel the last two years, whenever I'm in town to visit a friend of mine. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The staff are always very nice and accommodating, the rooms are always clean, and the area is quiet and safe. There's a Powell's Dairy Freeze drive-thru ice cream place that has very good ice cream and it's not expensive! It's literally next door... You can walk there. There's also a variety of restaurants such as Beef O'Grady's, Granny's Country Kitchen, Laredo (Mexican), Sonny's BBQ, to name a few. There's also a Walgreen's and a gas station nearby. I have yet to use the pool (I have bleach blonde hair, so getting in the pool would turn my hair green LOL), but I have seen the pool, and it's very inviting! I am always sooo tempted to jump in!!! And the pool is open until 10 p.m., not 8 p.m., like most places, so that's cool. The rooms always have a fresh, clean smell, and the a/c always works. The shower is very nice, and everything looks updated. Not this visit, but on a past visit, the hair dryer came in handy because I had forgotten to bring mine... Theirs was a life saver! I absolutely love Best Western. This location was recommended to me by my friend, and now I recommend it to others. It's a Michelin key hotel in my book! "

"The property is clean inside and around the hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re headed to UF, it’s 5 minutes away, really convenient. If you’re looking for a good dinner spot - Seoul Pocha is great right next door. So, overall a great experience. "
