This was a quick stop for sleep on our drive to Florida and the cheapest hotel in the area with an indoor pool for our kids so I didn’t expect much. What I cannot let slide is how rudely I was treated and disrespected by Shelly the night attendant at the front desk. She was not at the desk when we came in, no sign out about being back soon, I called the hotel number and no answer. My kids were falling asleep in lobby while we were waiting to check in. I was loudly calling for help and peeked into the office to make sure there wasn’t a medical emergency. That’s when Shelley threw open a back door and started yelling at me in front of my family that I had no right to be behind the desk and she had only been gone 2 minutes (check security cameras, this is a lie). No apology, no admitting she should have put a sign up saying she’d be right back. She also snapped at my wife who was holding our sleeping 3 yr old in her arms. "
