July 4th Weekend 2024

The Silo Farm Haus was a fun and unique experience. Tucked away in the back of the farm made for a wonderful night's stay. Drove into Farmington for dinner and stumbled upon some live music downtown that was very enjoyable. So much to do around the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Unique silo turned home sweet home

Such a fun property and experience! It was so neat to see a silo haus! Something I could live in one day! The host made the stay comfortable and welcoming. It was so fun and relaxing.

Lovely Silo Farm Haus

We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary/babymoon and loved this property so much. We were sad to leave so soon and will have to stay 2-3 nights, instead of one. So clean, cozy and peaceful. Thank you, Geggs, for creating a unique place to get away.

What a Gem

This renovated Silo is a must if you are visiting wine country in St. Genevieve!! Its quiet and so relaxing. It is centrally located to some of the best wineries. The silo is absolutely beautiful. Make your reservations now!!

Girl's weekend fun

We had such a relaxing fun time at The Silo Haus last weekend ! We had everything we needed and more. It was an adorable place, very clean and relaxing. The bed was amazingly comfortable & the porch swing was a favorite. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were never bothered by bugs and the few rains we had were nice to watch from the porch. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you for your hospitality!

Great experience!

This is a really nice place! So quiet out in the country and peaceful! Absolutely spotless clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we wanted for an overnight getaway. The conversion from grain storage silo to rental cottage was extremely well done, thoughtfully laid-out, and I can only imagine the time spent on the amazing carpentry work to achieve that beautiful ceiling. Husband and I really enjoyed out getaway and look forward to booking again sometime soon!

My wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary weekend at the Silo Farm Haus. It is gorgeous! The owners have thought of everything. There is nothing you will need when you visit other than your own food and clothing. Not only is the house unique, but it is also very clean and comfortable. The property is quiet. All we heard in the evening were crickets and the occasional cow. It was great to get away from the grind and just relax on their porch swing or the hammock in the backyard. I definitely recommend this for any small family or couple needing some time away. It's not far from Ste. Genevieve or even Farmington if you want something to do off-property, but far enough that you don't hear the traffic. My wife and I enjoyed a game of corn hole (provided by the owners) and they even gave us a very thoughtful anniversary card and gift - completely unexpected. Great place! We certainly will be back again some day!

We had such a wonderful anniversary weekend at the silo. It was beautiful and well maintained, both inside and out. Very well stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels. It was so peaceful sitting on the porch swing with a cup of coffee and driving to the nearby wineries was great. We even stopped by the owner’s new market up the street and enjoyed some ice cream and local honey. I’ve sent this listing to so many friends! Would love to come back. Thank you!

Great little getaway with a view

We truly enjoyed our weekend stay at this little hideaway. It was about 15 min drive to Farmington and Ste Gen. Several wineries close by. The craftsmanship of the building is amazing. The only thing that would have made it better would be a hot tub.

One Night Stay

We are fans of the local restaurants and bars and stayed here for the night. We talked about coming back to stay longer to enjoy the property for what it is instead of just utilizing it for a place to sleep. It’s so cute and clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Stay at Silo Haus in Wine Country

This was the most amazing, beautiful place! I am so happy I was able to find this location. My daughter and I take a weekend every September to get away and spend time together. This location has been our FAVORITE so far! If you enjoy peace and quiet along with beauty, this is the place to be! With it being in between Farmington and Ste. Genievieve, we got to enjoy both beautiful cities and everything in between!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful

This silo is absolutely stunning! Great peaceful location. Looks exactly as pictured and described. Definitely follow the directions you are emailed. Google maps had us in completely the wrong spot. We had some cows as neighbors for the night which was great. Note that there is no wifi and reception is spotty. Not a huge deal, but we did have to go outside to make some calls. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if in the area.

Wonderful!

My wife and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and this was the perfect place. The Silo Haus was so clean and cozy and the surroundings are so peaceful. The location is great with wineries, Hawn State Park and Ste. Genevieve all nearby. We hope to visit again soon.
