The Alpen Haus is a 3000 sq ft 2 story home that is set up to comfortably house large groups. The main level holds the large living room, the fireplace, dining room, kitchen, half bath, laundry room, and access to the deck. Walk up the staircase from the main floor to the 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.

5 min walk to bus stop will take you right to the Gondola and Base Area.

LIVING ROOM: Huge, comfortable living room with beautiful beamed ceilings. A lovely place to sit by the cozy wood burning fireplace. Relax on the Italian leather sofa and two loveseats or the two chairs which are so comfy and enjoy the 50” flat screen TV.

DINING ROOM: wet bar, large oak table and chairs plus a smaller oak table. Seating for 10 in the dining room plus additional seating for 6 in the kitchen.

HUGE COUNTRY KITCHEN. The kitchen is a perfect gathering area with it's large granite island. You can cook and socialize. It opens up to a huge deck. It has two refrigerators, microwave, range top, double ovens, dishwasher. It is well stocked & supplied with dish soaps, paper and plastic products, spices. Small appliances: coffee makers, toasters, blender, griddle, food processor, hand mixer, slow cooker, rice cooker, etc. Enough dishes, glasses, mixing bowls, baking pans: you name it we probably have it.

HUGE DECK: 800 sq. ft. deck, a favorite gathering place in the summer. The mountain and valley views are to die for. If you have children, you can keep watch over them from the deck as they play in the beautiful yard.

THE BEDROOMS:
Bedroom #1: Huge Master with King bed, plus single/single day beds. Sleeps 4. Ensuite luxury bath. Master closet is not available.
Bedroom #2: Queen Bed, sleeps 2, shares Jack & Jill bath with Bedroom #3. Also includes a workspace and ensuite sink
Bedroom #3: Single/Double bunk beds with twin trundle underneath. Sleeps 4, shares Jack & Jill bath with the 2nd bedroom. Also includes a workspace and ensuite sink
Bedroom #4: Queen bed. Sleeps 2, uses large hall bath, & includes a workspace
Baby Pack-n-play

It's already tough enough traveling with young kids so we provide additional kid items such as pack-n-play, baby monitor, sound machine, bath toys, and baby bath soap to make things a little easier.

Big Laundry room with Washer and Dryer just off the kitchen. Laundry room includes the second refrigerator - perfect for drinks and food for large groups
There is a Half Bath located between the kitchen and the laundry room.

As is typical of most properties in Steamboat, this property DOES NOT HAVE AC. There are fans located in the closets of every bedroom

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT: I really try to accommodate early check in and late check out when I can. You can always ask a few days before arrival and if it doesn't interfere with the arrival/departure of other guests and doesn't impact the cleaning schedule, I will try to work with your schedule.

Some guest reviews may reference a hot tub which is no longer available.
This property is part of a Duplex. The owners live in the other unit to assist with anything you need
