Walk 5 minutes to Steamboat's Gondola Square from this 3-bed, 3-bath condo at The West. Every bedroom has its own bath and smart TV, and the vaulted great room looks straight at the mountain. Gas fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, heated boot dryer and ski locker. Clubhouse pool and 2 hot tubs steps away. Good to know: 3rd-floor entry by stairs only, 3 levels inside, no A/C. Sleeps 9; most comfortable for 6-8.

LOCATION
Steamboat Resort's base is 0.1 miles away, about a 5-minute walk on a paved path to Gondola Square, ski school, the Wild Blue Gondola, restaurants, the ice rink and apres music. The free city bus stops at the crosswalk below the condo and runs to downtown in about 10 minutes.

BEDROOMS (sleeps 9, most comfortable for 6-8 adults)
- Lower level: king suite with desk, smart TV and en-suite walk-in shower.
- Lower level: bunk room with a twin-over-queen bunk plus two twins, smart TV, and its own full bath with tub. Great for kids or adults.
- Upper loft: queen suite with its own bath and smart TV. The loft is open to the great room and has no door.

LIVING
Open great room with vaulted ceilings and two-story windows facing the mountain, a gas fireplace with a safety screen, leather sectional and dining table. Fully stocked kitchen (spices, oils, quality cookware, drip coffee, Keurig, tea kettle). Balcony with 4 Adirondack chairs facing the mountain fireworks and base-area concerts.
A note on size: our photos use a wide lens, so rooms can look bigger than they feel. The condo sleeps 9 in real beds; for hanging out together, the great room is most comfortable for 6-8.

SKI GEAR
Mudroom entry with a commercial heated boot and glove dryer, a private ski locker at the front door, heated bathroom floors, and a welcome basket with snacks, hand warmers, lip balm and an oxygen canister for the altitude.

SUMMER & MOUNTAIN BIKING
Steamboat Bike Park is right at the base, with gondola-served downhill trails. Emerald Mountain and the Spring Creek trails are a short drive, and the Yampa River Core Trail runs through town. There's no garage or locked bike room at The West; bikes can be stored on the patio off the main living area or locked to the railing outside the front door (bring a lock). Concerts, the rodeo, Strings Music Festival, weddings and fall colors keep summer and fall busy.

SHARED AMENITIES
Heated outdoor pool and two hot tubs at The West clubhouse, about a 30-second walk, with Weber grills and picnic tables. Open year-round except for maintenance closures Apr 15-May 15 and Oct 1-Thanksgiving.

PARKING
One assigned parking pass is included and is needed only during ski season. There is always room to park; passes just keep spots for residents and guests in winter. Need space for a second car? Ask us before you arrive.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
- Stairs: the entry is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, and the condo itself spans three levels connected by stairs. Not a fit for guests who can't manage stairs.
- No air conditioning (standard in mountain homes). Summer days can be warm inside; nights usually cool off, and we provide fans.
- Gas fireplace: the glass front gets hot. A screen is in place; please keep an eye on little ones.
- Upper queen bedroom is a loft with no door.
- Pool and hot tubs close for maintenance Apr 15-May 15 and Oct 1-Thanksgiving.
- One parking pass (needed during ski season only).
- Bikes: no locked storage; patio or front railing only.
- Snow promise: if Steamboat Resort reports less than 50% of its terrain open in the week before your arrival, message us and we'll move your stay to any open non-holiday dates this season or next with no change fee (Christmas, New Year's, Presidents' Day and spring break weeks excluded).
