Great room in an authentic Stein Am Rhein building. Nice staff! No AC, but there is a fan and with the open window, it’s comfortable.

Overlooking the Rhine River, and also being right in the center of the old town made this an ideal location. The facility itself, while modernized inside, retains the charm of being a very old and classic structure. Parking was convenient and it was easy enough to unload luggage, then park about 100 meters away. Breakfast was terrific with hot meal options cooked to your desire. No elevator, so just be prepared for this.

An excellent room.

The suite overlooking the river was lovely. Newly renovated, spacious, including a small fridge. Breakfast was good and the hot food was cooked from a menu.
Large walk-in shower was in the bedroom. Base very slippery.

Breathtaking river view

My husband and I had the most amazing stay in the river-view suite, we had an unforgettable breathtaking sunset view. Watching the sun set over the river, painting the sky with stunning colors, while sipping a tea was the highlight of our trip! The suite was elegant, comfortable, and perfectly designed for relaxation. A special thank you to Rebekka for her outstanding service—she was warm, attentive, and went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic and luxurious getaway. We can’t wait to return! Aline & Daniel

This hotel was beautifully situated on the banks of the Rhine in Stein Am Rhein old town. A short distance from the cycle route, with secure bike storage available. Check in was fuss-free and we were welcomed with a complimentary drink which was nice and luggage taken to the room. The rooms are all accessed via stairs, there is no lift. Our room was modern, spacious and comfortable. A swiss-euro plug convertor was supplied, along with a fan, both of which were appreciated. No in-room hot drinks. There was a problem with the shower blocking but this was immediately and effectively fixed by extremely attentive staff. We ate dinner in the hotels outdoor restaurant and enjoyed excellent food with somewhat patchy service - like the sea it ebbed and flowed! Breakfast was included and served in a pleasant breakfast room, full range of the usual Euro breakfast. Coffee was excellent

Owner and staff were exceptional. They made us feel as if we were the only guests they had. Room was modern, very well equipped, clean and bed was very comfortable. The view is amazing, looking out over the Rhine river. Breakfast (included in rate) was delicious. There are few places during our travels we have stayed that we would return. This is one.

No elevator, but staff helped my wife carry her bags up 3 flights. Beautiful overlook of the river in our view double room and at supplied breakfast. Free car park is a short walk away.

Das Hotel ist sauber aber in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr kleine Zimmer. Bettdecke war unglaublich kuschelig. :-) Der Eingangsbereich wirkte sehr chaotisch, es standen viele Dinge auf den Tischen odwr in einer Ecke. Wirkt leider nicht sehr einladend. Preisleistung fand ich nicht gewährleistet.

Beautiful historic hotel located right on the Rhine river and on the edge of the gorgeous old town of Stein am Rhine. The town was quaint and lovely. The room was modern and comfortable with amazing views of the river. Restaurants walkable. But the most amazing thing about this stay was the staff. So pleasant and kind. They came in special in the morning to make us breakfast and it was fantastic! I can’t wait to come back here. If you get the chance definitely stay here

Great view of the Rhein, very walkable and easy to park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice. Soap and shampoo outside of shower was the only odd part, as there was no shelf in the shower. Good breakfast. Would recommend.
