"Very clean but simple, no frills accommodations. Husband/Wife team who run the hotel are very nice and friendly. Older historic building in photos, however our room was in the modern add-on in the back. Flight of stairs to enter the building, so you will haul your luggage. Full kitchen access with food and beverage options. Casual, homey - not upscale. Location - in a neighborhood, not near the city center proper."

"Lovely hotel, clean and right in the city center. Light breakfast option available. Unfortunately, just stairs, no elevator to the third floor rooms. Excellent staff was able to relocate us to the first floor. "

"This is a gem of a place to stay, very calming and relaxing. The staff was so friendly as well. We know we’ll be back in the area to visit family soon and we plan to stay here again. "

"Automated check-in system, which can be a bit impersonal for guests used to more traditional systems. However, the staff were great and very keen to help. For the price paid, I felt a little short-changed. The bedroom and bathroom really need an update although the bed was comfortable and I slept well. The evening meal buffet was basic but tasty and quite good value for around £23. Breakfast was also basic but adequate and included in the price. Internet speed was great. The location was quiet and in the countryside and suited my purposes well. The big plus was the staff! "
