"Die Lage ist super, ob zum paddeln, wandern radeln, zum Bahnhof, Einkauf oder zum Schloss, selbst zu den Pinguin-Spreewelten kommt man gut zu Fuß. Die Wohnung ist für 4 Personen mit Hund natürlich etwas klein (und dunkel), aber das wussten wir ja. Daß es eine weitere Ferienwohnung vor Ort gibt war uns nicht klar, das "eingezäunte Grundstück" ist somit nicht zur alleinigen Nutzung bestimmt, der Hund nicht ausnahmslos frei zu lassen!Ansonsten war aber alles toll, wesentliches vom Toilettenpapier...

"Der ganze Empfang auf das Grundstück hat uns geschockt. Sehr ungepflegt,Stolperkanten, nicht geschnittenene Büsche. Zum Haus war der kleine Steg rutschig und nicht gesichert,Holzbretter waren nur hingelegt. Die Terasse am Haus war voller Blätter und die Kissen nass.Die Überdachung hat den Regen nicht abgehalten. "Pros: In diesem sehr sauberen und liebevoll eingerichteten Haus fehlte es an nichts. In dem großen, bequemen Bett haben wir wie zu Hause geschlafen. Der große, rundum eingezäunte und sehr hübsche Garten lädt zum Erholen ein und war ideal für uns mit Hund. Neben einem Feuerkorb wurde uns auch ein Grill zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr gut. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, findet kaum etwas Besseres. Auch für Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des Spreewald hatten wir hier...

"We had a great time in Tropical Islands! It is understaffed and people there work very hard but were alsways friendly. We looked up their salaries and where shocked how little they make. 50% of the profit goes to a privat equity firm, which means some rich people get richer and probably don't care about long lines at the checkin or technical stuff not working right. Also, the rain forest looks like it needs some love. We loved the atmosphere. We had a very special time."

"I was there for my birthday. The facility was lovely and historic. Room was huge with pretty view of the city. Breakfast buffet was good with a big selection. Only thing was they didn’t make my birthday special. Just gave me two tiny chocolates lol. With all the money spent there they could have atleast given me a slice of cake. I had breakfast and dinner there, nothing not even a welcome fruit platter. They sure have no idea to celebrate :-("

"Right in the heart of the old section of Cottbus. Perfect location. Staff was helpful and breakfast was excellent. Self service laundry worked out well, and everything functioned as expected. Our room was on Floor 3 (the Fourth Floor in Europe) and the roof of part of the hotel was below our window. They could have just had us view the vents, but the entire roof below our window was sodded and planted with wildflowers. Nice touch."
