"Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical. Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!"

"was a wonderful place to stay to celebrate a birthday weekend with friends. the host was super responsive. it was clean and welcoming!"

"Beautiful clean house, comfortable beds, enough space and privacy for everyone. It has everything you need and most importantly it's close to everything. Thank you for hosting us! Hope to see you next time."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful property. We had our 3 young kids with us and my parents, and everyone enjoyed themselves fully. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with whatever we needed. The host was available whenever we had any questions, but we had no problems during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area, as its remote location is so peaceful. We will...

"We had a great time!!! We snowshoed on the trails in the back and enjoyed the snowy wide open spaces! The place was great for us too - the fireplace so cozy after a day out in the cold! The proximity to lake placid was amazing too!!"

"Quiet home base. It’s a small cabin with a lovely deck to so and enjoy river front views. You can see main house from the deck, but it felt very private and was a quiet property."

"Our stay at Mountain View Loj exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and comfortable for our sibling vacation--3 couples and two of our adult children. Beds were comfortable, AC worked during the brief heat wave, the kitchen was well equipped, and check out was as easy as any vacation rental. When we did have a little problem, the owner was over in 10 minutes to fix it. The property manager was very responsive to any questions. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay....
