"The cabin is rustic and just what we wanted. The shower is small, but has plenty of hot water. It's a 2 mile drive to the town of Packwood which has a few fun dining options and a great coffee shop. It's about 15 miles to the national park. The kitchen was well appointed. There was plenty of firewood and a nice firepit. Alas, after cutting much kindling, we discovered a burn ban and did not get to enjoy it. The communications with the host were excellent. We would stay here again."

"This is a conference-friendly hotel right on the water. Though the highway is nearby, the sound was quiet. Amenities excellent. We used the pool/hot tub/sauna at 8:30 Saturday morning and everything was up and running and clean. Excellent. The Riverside Restaurant provided a wonderful breakfast at a reasonable price. Though the lodging price was higher than we would have preferred, the experience was wonderful."
