The staff were all very friendly & went out of their way to chat & be helpful. The location was excellent to visit Stirling castle & the added bonus of having the historic Bannock Burn battle site behind the hotel was amazing. A lovely place to walk the dog & read all about the battle & Robert the Bruce. Would definitely stay there again.

The King Robert Hotel is a simple but clean and comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Stirling. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is both good and reasonably priced. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful.

I almost wrote this hotel off, given that from the outside it looks like soldier accommodation in Aldershot. How wrong was I. The hotel, its staff and the food are all nothing short of exceptional. I travel alone a lot for work, and this place by far exceeded all expectations.
