"We checked in really early and the reception staff went above and beyond to ensure housekeeping got our room ready really quickly. We had lunch in the bistro while we waited which was very pleasant. The bar staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The room was amazing and really comfortable, after a long flight and the onset of jet lag it was just what we needed."

"Excellent price for the proximity to the city centre, with the bus stop right outside the hotel. Very good cafe about 5 minutes walk away for breakfast and lunch . Room itself was perfectly nice as well "

"The Peebles Hydro Hotel was amazing and such an awesome place to stay! We spent a couple nights here to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect! The Swimming Pool and Hot Tub were so nice and the spa area was spectacular as well! "

"Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!"

"This was a beautiful hotel! It is a historic building so it has it’s quirks but it was neat to stay here! The staff was friendly and this one included the free breakfast. The only thing I would caution is the room was a long way through a maze of stairs and corridors so if you brought múltiple suitcases and have a car then plan ahead and only take what you will need and be wearing the next day in your smaller case otherwise this place was fantastic! I think they may have offered to help with the bags - if you have all your bags, take them up on that! This one is also the only one we stayed at on our two week trip where parking wasn’t a challenge - they have a large lot! "
