"Room was comfortable and quiet, breakfast was lovely, very friendly staff"

"Amazing trip with my daughter. We celebrated her 6th birthday. The hotel kindly decorated the room which made it so exciting for the birthday girl. The staff had excellent customer service skills. We paid a couple of visits to the pool which was very enjoyable and they provided towels. Take a pound coin for a locker. Plenty to choose from at breakfast and the bar meals were lovely. A lovely, comfortable stay and very relaxing. "

"The best thing about this property was the staff, all were great, but one Zara was exceptional. Zara made our stay and others in my extended families stay notable. She took care of us from check-in to check-out, especially my grandnieces with special treats. Listen up Village Hotel Management, you have a gem in Zara and her customer service skills and empathy for guests should be taught to all staff. On this trip I stayed in six hotels from London to Paris to Amsterdam, but I can say that the Village Hotel stay was the second to none because of Zara. "

"Better mattress and robes fridge broken"

"We had a lovely one-night stay at Voco Reading as a family. Parking was easy, and the staff were so welcoming—especially Leon, who gave us great tips on where to go for my daughter’s birthday. The highlight was coming back to find a mini cake and birthday card waiting in our room, such a thoughtful touch! The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, which made for a very comfortable stay. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the little details and the warm service. Would definitely stay again—thank you for making my daughter’s birthday extra special!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was lovely bar a very large dark dirt mark across one of the chairs. Great location and so quiet despite being so close to the main road! Slightly disappointed by the diner as when we got there half the menu was not available due to not having enough ingredients. Other than that would highly reccomend this hotel for a staycation "

"A great hotel to stay in Hampshire. Lovely place with great gardens and outdoor areas. You can go for a walk and see the amazing gardens or play tennis or just relax by the outdoor pool if the weather permits. There is a small but very clean gym as well as an I door pool and you can enjoy the spa. Thou can have dinner at the restaurant or at bar lounge which has a great atmosphere. The breakfast is great with fresh food to choose from as well as plenty of options for continental. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There are charging points for electric car if you want. Our daughter loved exploring the gardens and run around. There also some board games that you can use. She also have a pleasant surprise at our room. Very kids friendly! Note: our room didn’t have a fridge but can’t comment about other rooms not at the main hall/building. . "
