Close to the Baltic Sea, between the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and Holstein Switzerland, lies the village of Curau, which belongs to the municipality of Stockelsdorf. The holiday flat is located on the grounds of an organic farm - the Spatzenhof. The Spatzenhof is directly adjacent to the Curau golf course and has direct access to the golf course.
The golf course of the Curau golf club is directly adjacent to the farm. It is one of the few golf courses in Germany that was designed and is managed according to ecological principles. The first green, the clubhouse and the driving range are only a few metres away. Guests (guest players) are welcome on this golf course.
The Curauer Moor also invites you to take a walk. In the network of paths that opens up from here, there are many small attractive paths with sections of moorland, Galloway meadows and small groups of bushes.
The Baltic seaside resorts of Timmendorfer Strand and Scharbeutz are both only approx. 14 km away and can therefore be reached by car in just a few minutes. Lübeck is only about 10 km away. Curau is also located on the edge of Holstein Switzerland, which invites you to go on extended cycle tours or marvellous boat trips.
The diversity of Ostholstein leaves plenty of scope for personalising your stay. The favourable transport links to the A1 and A20 motorways make it easy to reach the metropolis of Hamburg and the cities of Kiel, Schwerin and Rostock.
The flat consists of two rooms, a very bright bathroom with shower and a hallway. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (approx. 2x90x200) and appropriate storage space for clothes and luggage. The living/dining room is furnished with a system sofa (130x200), shelves, table with four chairs, fitted kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, Smart TV/SAT and radio with CD player. The kitchen is extensively equipped with the necessary accessories e.g. combined pad and brew coffee machine, kettle, toaster, egg cooker as well as spices, vinegar, oil, pepper, salt, coffee pads etc., dish towels, dishwashing sponge, brush and detergent are also available. You can start cooking straight away.
There are direct exits to the courtyard (south side) and to the terrace with adjoining orchard. Garden furniture and loungers are also available and there is a lockable shed for bicycles. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in an outbuilding. Car parking spaces are located directly at the house
The courtyard offers relaxed tranquillity under lime and chestnut trees. Plenty of space for children and away from the road.
There is a small playground with a slide and sandpit in the courtyard and a large trampoline in the orchard behind the house.

The flats in the building have been extensively and ecologically refurbished to the latest standards, with carpeted floors and plastered walls painted with a white organic paint. The spacious flat is cosily furnished and the high walls, the staircase to the gallery and the gallery itself offer a special feeling of living.
