Wonderful escape to a private, quiet getaway

Every aspect of the Grape Escape was excellent. Large spacious common area, large new kitchen and comfortable towels and linens. Instructions very clear from the host and host very responsive to messages. A short walk to downtown in a quiet neighborhoood...highly recommended!

The house and room is amazing. Quiet, comfy, and the entire process of the stay was excellent. I wished I could’ve spent more time enjoying all the amenities in the house and yard but we were busy with family celebrating a graduation. Next time!

Amazing experience in Lodi!

We had an amazing time in Lodi and have really enjoyed our stay! The house is so confortable and you can feel that every detail was thought. We would definitely come back!

What a gorgeous updated home (Inn). Love the location and communication from Karen, the apparent innkeeper. A great choice in Lodi. So far give it a 5 . The family eating area/kitchen is amazing. This Inn is huge and would hold an entire wedding party or family reunion or just a couple on a weekend or wine tasting vacation to Lodi.

We only stayed on night at the Grape Escape but it was a fabulous house! Very well appointed, with a big kitchen and a fabulous backyard. My wife said, "well, now we know what our dream house would look like..." Walked to the downtown area and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood so close to all the restaurants and bars.

Beautiful house! Small bedroom but large downstairs with high end kitchen and a hot tub in the back. Even had a Nespresso machine with pods for use! The bedroom had a comfy bed and renovated bathroom. Great price for this!

Too many long emails

The room and the property are very nice. My main complaint is that they send too many long emails. When arriving I had to search through several old emails too find the correct one with the entry codes (and then the code based on my phone number did not work).

First off we always stay in hotels where you know what to expect. Did not realize this was a old house, we came into a dark entrance, up noisy stairs to a closed door and we had our hands full of luggage. The upstairs lobby area was dark,couldn’t find a light switch had to use my phone to see with. No heat in the room and we got very cold. Next morning in the daylight I found the thermostat and light switch BEHIND the upstairs door. Otherwise if we had the time it was a nice property

I liked the charm of the old "valley" house in a quiet neighborhood close to the city center. Downsides included a set of dark stairs which were hard for my legally blind spouse to maneuver; no labels on light switches around the house, making it hard to illuminate various rooms; electrical outlets were not grounded.

The home is ideally located in proximity to downtown Lodi, restaurants, and wineries. The home is clean and has a nice layout. The private backyard and front porch are relaxing-. Nice place to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Street parking was available as mentioned on the website. The property owner(s) were helpful and communicated well with their customers.
