"We were impressed with the building - never stayed in a castle before! Our room was very adequate too. As for dining, it seemed a fair way to the restaurant but it wasn't raining so it didn't matter: it might have been a different story if the weather had been wet."

"A fantastic staff at Redworth Hall Hotel. My partner and I stayed for a weekend away and absolutely loved it. We took advantage of all the facilities they had to offer, spa treatments, pool, jacuzzi, sauna and tennis courts. We were a little hesitant at first as other reviews have been mixed but we had a brilliant time. We stayed in one of the Deluxe double rooms situated at the front of the hotel overlooking to lawns, a spacious room with a comfortable bed, large wardrobe, leather chairs, table, mini Fridge and desk. The team at the spa were lovely, my partner and I had a couple of treatments and purchases some of the products they had available as they worked a treat. We are at the restaurant twice, ordered room service on the morning of our second day and had afternoon tea, the only thing I'd mention was the bruschetta starter, the bread was very cold like it had just come straight out of the fridge and placed on the plate but other than that it was delicious. Afternoon Tea, great experience, lovely cakes, a plain and a fruit scone with jam and real clotted cream, need I say more. Some points, the only thing we would mention is the tennis courts need some TLC. One of the courts appears to be damaged by falling tree branches and there are leaves clogging up the edges and on the second court the trees need to be trimmed back as they hang low over the court and leaves need to be tidied. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again."

"We arrived and went straight to bed as it was late when we got there. Bed comfortable but surprised no face cloths in the bathroom . Shower excellent and breakfast really tasty and with plenty of choice. Left luggage in house while we visited the Durham uni.Easy to walk to the Uni business centre. A good choice."
