"I booked this for my parents who were visiting me as I live in Saltburn. I normally eat and drink in the Spa alot and have always had a good experience so it pains me to write this but the room cost me alot of money and they had alot of issues and left early to go home to bed. Firstly the hotel has been undergoing major renovations for some time which they are very open about but it does give the place a building site feel which isnt welcoming. "The property was beautifully set, fantastically maintained, very friendly staff, with amazing facilities and great food. It was a lovely room with everything I needed for my 2 week stay. It's such a relaxing place, and I'd highly recommend a walk around the golf course, swim in the pool / spa, and use of the gym facilities.I'm definitely going to go back next tiime I'm in the UK. "
