FIREFLIES !!!! Summer spectacles. RELAXING hillside setting next to our vineyard with 1 bedroom, full kitchen, patio with bistro table/chairs, electric outdoor grill. Outdoor firepot for watching sunsets. Stroll through the vineyard with a glimpse, of the Mississippi River from 1.5 miles inland. Awaken to the call of the sand hill cranes in the valley floor.. In the evening be serenaded by the sounds of the frogs. From the living room and bedroom observe bluebirds, finches, orioles, robins and other birds in their daily routines. Only 7 miles south of La Crosse, WI dining, shopping, bicycle trails, and hiking trails. Located in Vernon County where many nature activities are available.

What a wonderful location! You literally are at the top of a Bluff in a vineyard! Beautiful sunsets and sitting by the fire was absolutely perfect. And the perfect touch was a bottle of wine and fresh bread! We would absolutely stay here again!

Quiet getaway.

Great getaway for a couple to be near whatever you need and completely tucked away from it all at the same time. Greg is a terrific host! The vineyard is a great setting.

Serene and Scenic

A beautiful, peaceful spot tucked up on a hillside in a vineyard. So clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The perfect home base for exploring the area. Will definitely come back when visiting the area.

Simply Fantastic

The place was better than the pictures showed - inside and out. We enjoyed everything about it, whether it be the large bedroom windows giving a great view of the bluffs or the relaxing and secluded outdoor seating. We would definitely stay here again!!

Another wonderful trip!

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was every bit as wonderful as our previous stay here 2 years ago! Greg (and Donna) are wonderfully gracious hosts, the facilities and amenities are top-notch, and the views amongst the winery and landscape make this a must-stay destination. Stoddard in the Vineyard

Fall Sightseeing Visit

Drive the extra 6 miles to this quiet, peaceful retreat! You won’t regret it! The views and amenities are fantastic! Watch the sunset over the Mississippi from the bedroom. Owners had a bottle of their own wine and homemade bread for us. Cabin is much nicer than described. Highly recommended!!

Perfect location for a little getaway!

The property was perfect for our little weekend getaway during the Lacrosse Oktoberfest celebration. Everything we needed for our stay was there, and it was very nice and clean. We loved the views from the hillside vineyard, especially at sunset. Greg was a great host, with bread and wine on the table for our arrival, and he was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He even let us check in a bit early when our plans changed. Next time we are in the Lacrosse area, we would definitely stay again!
