Holiday getaway

We just wanted to get away as a family for a few days and this did not disappoint! Our stay was comfortable, clean and cozy. From the minute we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcome. Debbie was very attentive to detail whether it was the music playing upon arrival or the apple pie slices and cookies Highly recommend!

A little piece of Americana

Every year, we give our children a Christmas adventure. This year, our accommodations were part of the adventure and my children loved every minute. In fact, they were begging to "go back home" whenever we were out seeing the attractions. We can't wait to return.

Cozy and quaint, easy access from hwy, convenient parking, lovely village, many amenities, and the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in. It has everything you need for a long or short stay.

The Smith is a GEM!

Storybook stay

Enchanting week staying at the Smith Cottage with my partner and canine old boy. Immaculate is an understatement for the cottage-it was beautiful, cozy and it is mind-boggling to me just how attentive, intuitive and thoughtful our host Debbie is. I cannot wait to return next September. Everything both inside and outside this property was great, including the beautiful fire pit under the harvest moon at night. Thank you Debbie, for a much needed wonderful stay.

Nice school vacation getaway

Loved our stay at the Smith Cottage! So clean and Deborah had everything covered to make our stay feel welcomed and personalized! So many nice touches - the attention to detail is remarkable! Exceptional Stay

Our family spent New Year’s Eve at Smith Cottage and enjoyed every second of our stay. Pulling into the driveway and seeing the wonderful front porch and the warm inviting light emanating from within the cottage gave each of us a smile. The decor is exquisite Americana, complete with giant blacksmith bellows and myriad nautical delights. A true slice of deliciously curated heaven. And the cherry on top: Debbie is an absolutely fantastic host! She made us feel welcome from booking throughout the duration of our stay. We look forward to returning soon!Note the loft steps up to the second bedroom are rather steep, though our 4 year old managed them just fine.

Perfect accommodations

From booking to check-out and everything in between, our stay at the Historic 1900's Ship Smith Cottage was exceptional. Homemade apple pie on the table, and soothing music playing in the background greeted us when we walked in.The beds were so comfortable and we both slept well and woke refreshed. We enjoyed easing into the day with groceries we purchased ahead of time. The Keurig, pods and cream gave us the boost we needed to be about our day.Everything was clean, comfortable and so well maintained. The weather wasn't cooperative so we didn't get to spend any time out doors. We did take a quick walk around the property and wished we could have enjoyed a fire at the fire pit.Debbie is an exceptional host. Honestly, it was hard to pack up and leave after three days. Superb Property Wonderful Hosts Delightful Stay

I had the most lovely, relaxing, comfortable stay here with my elderly dog on a workcation and I already know I will return here often. The hosts are exceptional at hospitality! Without being intrusive, they check in and see if you need anything by message, and the house manual and instructions provided are thorough and helpful. I was so impressed with the cleanliness and how beautiful the property is along with the exceptional comfort and all the amenities there. It’s in such a great location too and the Wi-Fi was super fast for work. I enjoyed the Roku TV as well. There were so many things I wanted to do. I have to go back soon. The area is so cool.
