"Hotel Eggers was a great start to our vacation. Located at Gothanburg central station, it's so convenient. It's a safe area and very close to many shops/malls and restaurants. The rooms are a fantastic throwback to an older period, thinking of something late 1800s to the early 1920s. Adequately large for a couple, we took the king bed room. Everything was comfortable and functional. We even got little chocolates. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. Coffee or tea as you like it, a huge selection. Such a great cereal bar, an egg station, and cuts of meat/herring, a selection of fruit, and juices. A very nice start to our day. One small thing, completely understandable, was there no air conditioning. Would not have been a problem except there was a heat wave (yay, global warming) and we didn't get much sleep because it was so hot in the room. Keeping in mind that this is Sweden though, so normally there wouldn't be need of AC. We brought our portable fans (Amazon!) so it was OK after 1am. But don't let that stop you. The staff was above and beyond. Exceptionally flexible, kind and friendly. Would highly recommend."

"From the moment I arrived, my stay at Jacy’z Hotel & Resort exceeded my expectations. The hotel has a unique atmosphere that combines modern luxury with a vibrant resort feel. The design is stunning, with beautiful interiors, stylish décor, and incredible views of Gothenburg that make every part of the property feel special. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and everything was thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing and luxurious experience. Housekeeping maintained the room perfectly throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the rooftop restaurants and bars, which offer amazing food, great drinks, and breathtaking views. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an impressive variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to every taste. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The spa, pool, and fitness facilities were excellent and added to the overall resort experience. Whether you’re looking to relax or stay active, the hotel has everything you need. The atmosphere throughout the property is lively yet elegant, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers. Most importantly, the staff were exceptional. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help, making me feel valued throughout my stay. Jacy’z is truly one of the finest hotels in Gothenburg. "We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central. The hotel was extremely convenient, located directly at the train station where we arrived from Stockholm. After a long day of travel, we especially appreciated the very short walk from the train to the hotel. Although we arrived late in the evening, there were still a few nearby places open where we could purchase snacks before checking in. The check-in process was seamless, and our room was clean, quiet, and well maintained. We also appreciated being able to take the elevator directly to the train station level, where there were shops and restaurants. The location made transportation very easy, and Uber drivers were familiar with the hotel pickup area. The only drawback was the size and temperature of the room. We had booked accommodations for three people with an additional bed, which made the space feel quite tight. The room also became warm at night, the windows could not be opened, and we were unable to control the air conditioning. Overall, the excellent location, cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and easy access to transportation made this a very convenient place to stay in Gothenburg."
