"Bei Ankunft mußten wir erst einmal Fenster putzen😔und eine Grundreinigung durchführen. Dies haben wir an die örtliche Agentur gemeldet, und warten heute noch auf eine Antwort Viele Wohnungen sind an Monteure ( Gastarbeiter) vergeben, dadurch war es abends sehr laut. Im großen und Ganzen ist die Wohnung nicht weiter zu empfehlen "

"The location was great. Nice restaurant next door. Picking up the keys was stressful as only received notification 2 days prior to arriving. The space was small but adequate for 3 people, however it came bare bones- no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no towels or face cloths, or sheets and pillow cases which I had to pay for in advance. We stopped at the Novosol office at 4:30 pm to pick them up but no one was there and called the hotline number which no one answered. Very disappointing. "

"Very clean but simple, no frills accommodations. Husband/Wife team who run the hotel are very nice and friendly. Older historic building in photos, however our room was in the modern add-on in the back. Flight of stairs to enter the building, so you will haul your luggage. Full kitchen access with food and beverage options. Casual, homey - not upscale. Location - in a neighborhood, not near the city center proper."

OK country hotel needing a facelift

"Automated check-in system, which can be a bit impersonal for guests used to more traditional systems. However, the staff were great and very keen to help. For the price paid, I felt a little short-changed. The bedroom and bathroom really need an update although the bed was comfortable and I slept well. The evening meal buffet was basic but tasty and quite good value for around £23. Breakfast was also basic but adequate and included in the price. Internet speed was great. The location was quiet and in the countryside and suited my purposes well. The big plus was the staff! "

"the property was just as shown and described and very well equipped - very quiet location, ten minute walk to a lovely beach. Would definitely recommend to families wanting a restful holiday near the coast. "

Gloss but lots of small issues

"Great reviews so booked at short notice, wish we hadn’t. The room was spacious but had a number of annoying or safety issues. First of all the blinds didnt go all the way down leaving bright sunlight streaming directly onto the bed. The bathroom was awful after a shower, just like a skating rink. The breeze block step into the building was wobbly. The worst was the electric lead, plugged in, which then trailed across the corridor, and out the front door, twice we nearly went flying when we tripped over it"

"Stunning setting for this castle on a moat. We were delighted with our large comfortable room in the castle up on the 2nd floor with a fabulous view across the grounds, gardens and moat. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was beautifully presented and served, and breakfast was especially excellent and thoughtful.Staff were kind and helpful and always gracious. The gardens were delightful, even in the pouring rain. Wish we could have stayed longer."
