"This was our third time visiting the island and we could not have had a better stay. The house was exactly what we were looking for, and the hosts were fantastic. The communication was excellent and they were kind enough to message us on an amazing display of the northern lights to make sure we didn’t miss it. I cannot wait to make sure my friends book this location on their trips and we will definitely be back!"

"This was our favorite accommodation over the 9days we spent in Iceland. So peaceful! We all loved the hot tub on the hillside. Stunning! My daughters loved the reading nook which they used as their bed. The record player was a nice touch. Had fun listening to music while relaxing in the evening. Memorable stay."

"A 4 day stay in a comfortable cottage about 15-10 min drive from Selfoss, 5 min drive from the Kerid volcanic crater. Cottage with all amenities except washer in a quiet area with several other similar cottages. Nearest supermarkets in Selfoss (there is one nearer by but is was closed). Having a car is a necessity though. "

Great hotel for viewing northern lights!

"Family of six from Boston, stayed for 2 nights during Spring Break (April 2025). We stayed in the cottage which was very comfortable. There are plenty of beds for us six, and we got to see northern lights in the first night! Overall an amazing stay and would definitely go back again! The hotel has couple Border Collies on site who are super friendly. We enjoyed petting them :) A few things that could’ve made the stay over-the-top awesome: 1) microwave in the room, 2) on-site or in-room washer/dryer, 3) more food selection for the breakfast buffet. But these aren’t deal breakers for us. We enjoyed the stay a lot without them."
