"The hotel staff were friendly, the breakfast was okay, and the room was clean. The location is convenient because it is close to the train and bus stations. We arrived at the train station late in the afternoon, and it was raining. We tried to book an Uber, but no drivers were available, so we had to walk for about eight minutes to reach the hotel."

"We had a wonderful overnight stay in Foggia at the Palazzo Sant’Elena! I found it on Expedia and the reviews were positive. Since my name is Elena I regarded it as a “sign” that we were meant to stay there. We were greeted with smiles and warmth from the moment we walked in the door. All the front desk staff were informative and accommodating. They even recommended restaurants nearby. Our room was lovely and modern. Plenty of hot water and towels. The manager was kind enough to allow me to purchase hand towels bearing the name of the hotel. My favorite souvenir! The next morning we had a full breakfast included in our hotel fee. I expected continental but it was a full breakfast. Pastries and fruit were fresh and eggs, bacon etc, delish. We loved Foggia and would not hesitate to return to this sweet town and the Hotel Sant’Elena."

"Marilu is about a 5 minute walk to the train station which was perfect for, and it very close to a big park and a central areas with restaurants, shopping, for gelato, smaller, parks/piazzas, stunning churches and more. Check-in was very easy and I loved the breakfast at a "bar" seconds away. It was very hot in the city and the air conditioning kept me comfortable in a very lovely room and a bathroom with a large walk-in shower."

"We arrived late in day and first impressions were underwhelming and very secluded. It is the off season (May) and didn't see any other guests. It is a very expansive (large) estate and has huge potential. Breakfast was very good and we hung by the pool for several hours the next day and came to appreciate the privacy. The bed was comfortable. Be aware of loud pair of peacocks roaming the property. Noise plugs didn't help much. Lol"
