The house wasn’t perfectly spotless and stained carpets and too many things on the walls but nothing terrible. "Graduation at UConn in early May 2024. Kim’s house was clean and spacious with incomparable views of the lake. There were many areas in the house for you to have your own private space and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were multiple ways to access the wonderful deck and sunroom. Most of my guests were over the age of 70 and the shallow carpeted indoor stairs leading to the bedrooms presented a challenge for only one of my guests. Note that the upstairs bathroom is inside...

"Our Mom was turning 70 and we wanted to surprise her with a night away to Mohegan Sun. Comedy show, dinner and gambling. This house and location were easy to get to and close to our celebration location destination. We very much enjoyed the unique experience of this historic house. We met the owners as we were leaving. Super nice! They had all the cute touches you would think of for a house like this. Communication responses were quick. We highly recommend this location! And Mom was SURPRISED!...

"Dont walk, run to stay at this tiny home, it is beautiful! So many ammenitites and everything was all up-to-date. It is also the perfect tiny home for a night in one night, and going out to the casino or elsewhere the next. I will definitely be back!"

"This was a well equipped gem overlooking the lake. My family of four adults rented this for two nights in order to attend a wedding. The whole place was elegantly decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could want - coffee bar, expresso machine, sparkling wine in the fridge,, and even a station for creating S'mores - yum! The views of the lake were outstanding. We've rented many VRBO's and this was probably the best yet. We will definitely be coming back. Beautiful place."

It is an older cottage w quirks of an older house w original bathroom w no mirror, steep staircase to basement off the kitchen, small TV, but great for playing some games and close place to sleep/shower."
