"The house was exceptionally beautiful and in traditional keeping with the Mani architecture. Extremely quiet and remote with fabulous views. Great exploring and the most important for us was the wild flowers - exceptional in April. The house is very cosy and well equipped and even broadband is available despite it's remoteness. "We had a great time in Kalamata. The house was very clean and the views of the sea were spectacular. We were a little concerned about parking the car, but parking was always available at the same spot and there was plenty of space. We parked very close to the home, about 75 feet. "we have stayed here several times in the past, on occasion twice in one year we love it so much, but the difference in the standard this year was vast. The property and grounds look generally unkempt with broken tree branches, washing line and waist high weeds by the shower and toilet. "The property is located a very quiet and peaceful location and it is indeed surrounded by olive trees. The only drawback we found was that in order to walk into Stoupa for meals in the evening you have to walk a stretch (about 100 metres) on the main road - we did not like this. In every other respect, the property is perfect and we would certainly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful few days here (family of 4). It's a lovely building, inside and out, in an immaculately kept garden. The cottage is very well stocked (kitchen utensils, bedding etc) and there are lovely touches everywhere. I recommend this extremely highly- far and away the best self-catering property I've ever stayed in."

"Anaxo Resort isn’t super easy to get to but it is well worth the effort. It’s not hard to get to really, the road is a little narrow and windy but manageable It is a gorgeous place. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen and the beds and showers are super comfy. The staff is great - super friendly and helpful. The pool and the bar are fantastic. "
