The entire resort was spotless. The bed was comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms and sitting areas were all beautifully appointed and inviting. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and welcoming. The food in the dining room was superb. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay in the fall.

While the room was large spacious and the lodge and trails were beautiful I felt gipped by the unexpected fees when booking that doubled the cost of the stay, which I was fine with but wasn’t expecting as we had already split the room. Additionally the beds were too firm and not comfortable

The Von Trapp Lodge was idyllic. The entire area around the lodge is filled with hiking trails and quiet nature. We especially enjoyed the sheep and Scottish highland cows in the pastures on the property. We also took advantage of the family history tour. Everything was exceptional.

Spectacular views! Wonderful accommodations with photos of the Von Trapp family throughout. Excellent offerings on the History of this famous family. Dinner was superb and again, breathtaking views. Unfortunately we did not have the allotted time to take in all that the resort has to offer guests in tours, walkabouts, etc. I would definitely recommend and we will return.
