This is a 5* hotel, with the usual amenities - bellboy, valet parking, etc. Location is outstanding - like a fairy tale (with Christmas lights still up). Room was old and needs to be updated. Room pricing appears to vary a lot, depending on demand. We were there over Christmas week, and it was very expensive (IMO overpriced.) Definitely *the* place to stay in Strasbourg.

Tuvimos el privilegio de cenar en el hotel la noche de Navidad, el 24 de diciembre, disfrutando de un exquisito menú de cuatro tiempos, acompañado de una cuidada selección de vinos. Cada plato destacó por su calidad, equilibrio y presentación impecable, reflejo del talento de un chef con estrellas Michelin. La atmósfera creada para esa noche tan especial fue simplemente perfecta. La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, especialmente durante la época navideña. Estar a pocos pasos de los mercados de Navidad permite vivir Estrasburgo con toda su magia y regresar al hotel se siente como volver a un refugio elegante y acogedor. La atención del equipo, en particular del concierge, fue excepcional. Siempre amables, atentos y resolutivos, lograron organizar cada detalle con absoluta dedicación. El desayuno, variado y delicioso, fue otro de los grandes aciertos de la experiencia. Destacamos también la organización de un chauffeur privado en un vehículo de alta gama, gracias al cual pudimos recorrer los pueblos de los alrededores de Estrasburgo con total comodidad. 4 night stay with my mother in December 2025, visiting the Strasbourg and Colmar Christmas markets. Nice location, walking distance from the central station. Big room and bathroom, lacking a bit regarding cozyness (i.e. some photos on the walls). Fridge is a plus! Had breakfast all days, well assorted. Did not try the restaurant for dinner. Helpful and welcoming reception, though some more information regarding the spa was needed (went to the spa without knowing I should have changed in my room, no one there to tell me how the locker was to be used). Nice outdoors jacuzzi :)

The best element of this hotel was the location. I’d recommend this hotel based on that alone. The staff was pleasant and the room was nice. My one criticism was the poor quality of the bath towels. They were way below a five star hotel standard. Very worn and grayish not fluffy and bright white like you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The wash cloths need to be thrown out. Terrible!

The room is in good condition but Weird, there is an attic inside the room but with a spiral ladder that can go up. The bath is huge and with a window but no curtain. Most of the staffs but just one front desk girl got a little problem when I checked in
