The house was perfectly located for a canoe trip of six people. The house was very clean and had some extras making our stay very enjoyable. David the owner was very communicative and responsive to our questions.
This is the second time we stayed here and both times were positive stays. I would highly recommend the house to others.
This cabin is amazing! Everything we needed was there. Just add family and food. Only complaint was wish there was more then just one bed larger then twin size beds. Loved the ease of getting on the ATV trails right from the cabin. Only other issue is that the trails to get to gas stations are currently closed, so we had to load back on trailer to go get fuel. But well worth the trip for this cabin.
The house is in perfect shape and right on the trail! The parking was great and had tons of extra room. The owner was extremely good with responses and went above and beyond.
Oh my gosh.....our stay was fantastic, host was so awesome about getting back to us...not a thing was out of place, spotless...perfect setup and location. It was just so enjoyable. We will for sure be going back!!
I have stayed at this cabin multiple times for a reason. Great house, great owner, great location and super clean! Perfect for ATV trips, everything you’d need.
The cabin in Stratford had all the charm and amenities one could ask for in northern New Hampshire. It was perfect for my group who was canoeing the Connecticut River. It was located between Bloomfield and Guildhall making it an ideal spot to use as a base camp.
The size was perfect for five of us and had plenty of parking for our cars and canoes.
David was very helpful and responsive answering my questions and I would certainly rent this house again.

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner. I often stay at vacation rentals all over the country and this one is definitely at the top of the list! Super clean, perfect layout, perfect location for ATV riding, plenty of parking and a super responsive owner who is so easy to deal with! I highly recommend this property if you are visiting this area. ATV trails are very close and you can ride right from the house. We will be back next year for sure...
David is hands down a very great host/property manger! He was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. The access to the trails was so convenient for our family of 5 to go on some quick rides! The bathrooms were super clean and furniture was very comfortable.
Suggestion to renters bring some slippers or “house” shoes to not bring in any of the gravel or rocks into the house, we are a no shoes in house family and it helped keep the house/floors clean during our stay. The front porch and fire pit were great spots to relax and enjoy the sound of the small stream in the woods. We hope to come back in the winter to try out some snowmobiles !
Thank you David for everything!
