"The hotel is in a fun, rustic town. The hotel is decorated and cute. The area is beautiful. My only complaint is that the description said "14 miles" to my destination in Arnold. It's actually 53 miles and a 59 minute drive! Incorrect information led to a bit of frustration. Nice drive though through some beautiful country. "

"Beautiful area. Very quiet and relaxing close to Big Trees and Alpine Lake. This was my first attempt at VRBO and everything went very smooth and easy. Way better than motels.The house was very nice."

"Woo…What a beautiful, peaceful place. We planned this trip since I have been sick for a while and we wanted to get my family together. I thought Strawberry was the most appropriate place since my mother, me, my children and a few of my grandchildren have spent our summer vacations there going back to 1925. So sharing the memories there is extra special. We were not disappointed. The cabin’s knotty pine interior was very cozy — just like the cabins my family had owned. The sound of the river right off the deck where we had family dinners was just perfect. There was also a smaller patio (still plenty large for 8 -10 people easily) that is just feet from the river where we would just sit, relax or read, I liked just watching and listening to the river. Our Old English Sheep dog was in heaven. We are already talking about another stay this Fall! "

"The exterior of the motel looks dated - like 1968. The room was clean and contained a queen sized bed (comfy), a small refrigerator, and microwave, it’s no frills, but clean and comfortable. We would come back."

"We all had our own bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Skylight in the shower! So rustic and very quiet. Great fenced in front yard for the dog with porch. She laid out there for hours. We will be back. "
