"This location was a great spot for a quiet weekend with an old friend and little boys. We had plenty of space and the boys slept late after doing laps on the stairs to chase paper airplanes. The boys enjoyed saying hello to the goats and cows on the property. The house was close to the Strausburg Railroad and the Train Museum, both good day trips."

"There were four adults who shared apartment A. It was a great place to just "hang out." We enjoyed sitting around the fire ring listening to the birds and walking over to see the horses and deer in the field. We only stayed two nights. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. The kitchen was equipped with most of what you would need, although we could have used a grater for cheese and a baking dish. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and would stay here again."

We also really appreciated the coffee and tea set up, including creamer, sugar and Splenda. It's so nice to be able to make coffee in the morning. "This house is absolutely perfect and the owner was extremely accommodating and quick to reply to messages. Amenities are provided by the owner. The house is a block away from the water, the Wellwood and the market Street cafe. Great food at both locations. Located 4 miles from North East MD. We will definitely be back."

"The Dock House was the best place for a weekend getaway! The hosts, Gary and Diane were the most pleasurable people to meet and interact with. They welcomed us with open arms, (literally.) The space was so clean and quaint and had everything we needed. Access to the pier was perfect for morning coffee and floating in the river in the afternoon. "This how is an old home that was fixed to look lovely. It had everything we needed for our stay. There are three bedrooms in the main house. Loved the separate kid space which doesn't have bedrooms but two twin lofts with ladders so if you have little kids this probably won't work for you. My teen girls loved having the separate space. They also really enjoyed the hot tub. The fire pit area looked very nice but we didn't get to enjoy that space and there was a nice large yard. They had to...

"Communication with property owners was very fast. Property was very clean and exactly as described. The view was beautiful from the deck and the back windows. We even had a bald eagle tet in the pole and tree near our deck. Great place to rest and relax!!"
