Absolutely fantastic place! We felt welcome and comfortable throughout our entire stay. Very family- and child-friendly, with a lovely pool and a delicious breakfast buffet, including a special section just for the children. Everything was well thought out, and the staff were friendly. Definitely worth every penny!

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, right on Lake Maggiore. The hotel is very modern, spotlessly clean, and everywhere smelled lovely. The pool area is great, although the water was a little cold as it isn’t heated. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas, sun loungers and parasols, so there’s lots of space to relax. It’s also only around a 10-minute flat walk to the shops, bars and restaurants, which was really convenient. The only downside is that food and drinks at the hotel are quite expensive.

Great location. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a lake view(possibly due to building work at the back of the hotel) which was fantastic. As we only did a long weekend didn’t even notice the works. Short walk (10 minutes) to town centre with its restaurants and charm.

The hotel has been very recently renovated, the interior design is really beautiful… staff is helpful and friendly. We stayed in junior suites and a terrace suite with lake view and they were amazing and spacious. A few amenities missing, like conditioner, tissues and body lotion, and carpet throughout makes it hard to handle luggage, but the rest is so great that it doesn’t matter in the end. Overall, great!

The Grand Bristol hotel is by far the very best of all the places we have stayed so far, in Italy. The rooms were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms with their beautiful modern design were an unexpected surprise! The beautiful gardens & pool, the luxurious rooms, the wonderful views, the warm and friendly staff made this an extra special place to stay with our family. So welcoming and hospitable for those traveling with babies too. We loved the fact that most of our excursions were walking distance, including the launch point to the boat ride to the Borromean islands. The Palace & garden tour is a must see. It was beauty beyond words!

The minute you walk into the reception area you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The property itself is gorgeous and newly remodeled and restored. Every detail is gorgeous! It’s very modern and in good taste. The pool is spectacular and the pool bar is special. The rooms are spacious and had a lake view with a balcony. Beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect close to any thing you want to do. We took a boat to the Iobella island and the jumped in the lake. Highly recommend this property

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The only complaint is the 5% service charge that shows up on the bill at the end of the trip. They charge 5% on the entire stay, room charge and all. I was tipping throughout my stay not knowing about this charge. You are allowed to decline the charge but similar to the U.S. you’re kinda shamed into accepting. Buyer beware!

L'hôtel a été entièrement rénové dans l'année et le résultat est superbe !! L'hôtel garde tout son panache d'ancien palace du début du siècle dernier mais avec une rénovation actuelle parfaitement en adéquation avec le style de l'hôtel. On y retrouve un style 1920 revisité et c'est très réussi. Nous étions en suite junior vue lac (merci beaucoup à l'hôtel d'ailleurs pour le surclassement car nous avions réservé à la base une chambre familiale vue lac et piscine) où nous pouvions loger à 4. Un vrai bonheur car la vue est somptueuse, la chambre spacieuse et très luxueuse. La piscine est un endroit des plus agréable, les nouveaux agencements offrent des espaces de détente tous aussi accueillants les uns que les autres. Nous avons dîné le 1er soir au restaurant de l'hôtel (pas le gastro, l'autre) et le seul bémol de notre séjour viendra de là. Nous n'avons pas bien mangé du tout !! Nous avons pourtant pris des chose basiques mais tout était sans goût ni saveur. Mais c'est le seul point négatif de notre séjour. Nous avons dîné un autre soir au bar qui sert des snacks améliorés excellents avec chaque soir un chanteur ou musicien différent, chaque fois de très grande qualité ! Nous n'avions pas pris les petit dej, je ne peux donc pas commenter là-dessus. Le personnel est adorable et au petits soins, un vrai plaisir :) L'an prochain, un grand spa devrait voir le jour, nous avons hâte de revenir et de l'essayer ! Nos amis ont été conquis également ! Je recommande donc ++++

Utroligt lækkert nyrenoveret hotel i topklasse. Desværre er baren ved poolen mega dyr. Vi bestilte toast ved poolen som ikke var ordentligt tilberedt. Vi klagede og sendte dem retur, kort efter kom de samme toast tilbage kun en smule varmere. Til de priser laver man nye toast til kunden. Ved afrejse fik vi at vide at der på fakturaen var euro 66 på service, men det kunne vi undlade at betale. Det gjorde vi også, men syntes det var en voldsom pris, på et hotel hvor man har givet euro 470 pr. overnatning.

Hotel muito bonito, recém renovado. Equipe de funcionários precisa melhorar na hospitalidade e acolhimento ao hóspede. Escolhi o hotel pra passar meu aniversário e minha família pediu pra eles entregarem um bolo no café da manhã… Ficamos esperando mais de uma hora e ninguém trouxe… Nenhuma lembrança no quarto também… Achamos descaso do hotel…
