The location is in the city center. So all the services are near. The hotel rooms are quite modern but there are some porblems with smoking, air condition system, heating. Some members of staff are not service minded. Noises from streets and other rooms can be heard in rooms.

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Stresa

Lovely little hotel right in the centre of Stresa. We had a family room with bunk bed and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was good selection of food plus fantastic coffee. Would highly recommend

It was even better than expected!! We only stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed more. The room was a great amount of space. We had an unexpected view that made our hard day of travel so much better! Other than some mold on the ceiling that no one else in my family noticed everything was super clean! If Primavera is in your budget range, I’d say go for it! I wasn’t sure but I definitely don’t regret it!

Our family of four (including two large teenagers) shared a quadruple room for two nights. While the room was small and basic and the breakfast was ample but simple, the value was outstanding. The room was clean with a lovely view from the balcony and the location is outstanding. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

A good value hotel

Hotel Primavera is a good 3 star hotel in the pedestrian district of Stresa. We had a good 5 nights stay there. The room was spacious by European standards, it had a balcony big enough for 2 chairs, a kettle (but no teas or coffees were provided), and an empty mini fridge. The bathroom had apparently been recently redecorated and was nice. There have been some negative comments about the breakfast, but we found it to be good for a 3 star hotel. Sure, the "orange juice" was made from concentrate and was about 90 % water and there was rationing with croissants - one per person - but otherwise the buffet contained everything you can sensibly expect. There were 3 different kinds of cold cuts, 3 cheeses, lots of cereals, different breads, jams etc. You did not need to leave the breakfast table hungry. Overall the hotel provided good value for money and we would happily stay there again.

Nice hotel in the middle of the town

Perfect location is probably the best competitive edge of this hotel. It is perfect in the middle of the town. I was a bit worried before checking in how the room would look like as pictures doesn't show the facilities quite well but was happy to find out the room was quite modern and comfortable for the price. AC could have been just a bit more efficient and it was not possible to adjust it from the room but this was something I didn't communicated with the staff as it still worked quite well, maybe they could have done something for it. Service was great especially in the breakfast, so staff in the restaurant was great. At the reception the more mature staff was super warm and helpful but some of the younger ones looked like they wanted to be somewhere else taking no actions to greet people in any ways etc. But all in all I can highly recommend this one if looking for a decent hotel in the middle of Stresa.

Spacious rooms, clean, very new bathroom, walkin shower was brilliant, but no shelf in there for toiletries? Clean room & bed. Special price menu for guests in restaurant next door. Breakfast was adequate but Too many cakes,pies & sweet slices. Croissants handed to you at table, 1 each. But on the whole great hotel in an ideal position/area, restaurants & Lake couple of minutes walk.

The best location, but could be more comfortable

Stayed in this hotel many times over 20 years nice people, best location but hotel gets more "tired" every year. Beds are hard, and need more and much better pillows. Rooms need serious refurbishment. Breakfast is substantial but not the best quality.

The stay was vey overpriced compared to the state of the structure (quite old, holes in the ceiling, pieces of the wall coming off, old amenities) and they don’t have private parking, so you’re either lucky and find a free one or you’ll have to pay that too and risk a fine if late to change the disk. Overall decent enough but for maybe half the price

I had a terrible experience in this hotel as it never happened to me before. I stayed 2 nights in this place with my partner & daughter in January as no other hotels were opened in the area at this period unfortunately. As the heating was not working properly and we were freezing, we decided to use the blankets in the closet. Big mistake that shouldn't have happened! After the 2d night i started to have red scratchy buttons appearing all over my body. I went to the doctor / pharmacists when back home and they confirmed it was bed bugs....imagine the panic to live the risk to have bring them back home... I was so scared that i've trashed all the clothes i had during the week end. After having informed the hotel via email they never replied to me. No even a SORRY. This hotel on top of being dirty is really disrespectful toward guests which is unacceptable as a professional!

Hôtel parfaitement situé près de l’embarcadère pour le tour des îles Chambre rénovée et très agréable Il est dommage qu’après avoir averti dès notre arrivée que la porte de la salle d’eau ne fermait pas et que l’ampoule du couloir de notre chambre était grillée, nous n’avions aucune réparation 48h après lors de notre départ…
