"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Flora. The staff were so helpful and friendly and, although a little old-fashioned, the rooms were really comfortable, clean, with an excellent shower, complimentary water, a fridge and a small balcony. The swimming pool is large, well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds and a food and drinks service. The restaurant was closed for two of our four days there and has a very basic offering, but generous portions and the breakfast was really good - loads of choice, good food and lovely staff. The hotel is so close to the lake and there are a couple of local restaurants (the one on the left is better/really good) with a wonderful setting for a lazy lunch. The train and bus services are nearby and good, or it's a 20 minute walk into Stresa central alongside the lake and you can take a boat to the local islands too. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel! Thank you for a great stay. 😊"
