"The apartment and the property is clearly a labor of love. Beatrice is the owner, hostess, manager, gardener, and tour guide. She is helpful, kind, and a wonderful person. The compound is close to the top of a hill, near Spoleto. It is 10 minutes removed from town. Spoleto is a prefect location to explore the hill towns of Umbria (Spello, Trevi, Montefalco, Assisi,) A car is most likely needed, unless you are into some very serious mountain biking or trail running (use a car). "Lovely apartment with windows on 3 sides. Great location near everything but still quiet. Beautiful views of the town and countryside. The apartment is well appointed and the local manager is very helpful and knowledgeable. Only frown side for us was 2 flights of stairs for an ex runner with bad knees."
