"I really used to like this hotel as its in a beautiful location. I won't go back unless they buck there ideas up, check in was 4pm, room not ready after driving for 5 hours, no bar open and it's miles away from Inveraray, 5pm given a room key and found out it hadn't been cleaned. We were not the only ones waiting at least another 5 or 6...

"Undoubtedly the most magical place we’ve ever stayed, words and pictures just can’t do The Little Cottage in the Woods justice. Every corner of the cottage and gardens reveal more delightful touches! We were sorry to have to leave so soon and wish we could have stayed longer. Even gypsy, the resident German Shepherd, provided a warm welcome to both the kids and dogs! Lynne and Jeff were the perfect hosts - friendly and helpful without being imposing. We felt like we were leaving old friends at...
