"We really enjoyed staying at the AC Hotel. The staff were friendly, especially Myah at breakfast. We were given a room on the 28th floor so we had great views and it was very quiet! The room was very comfortable and even though we had a minor problem with the minibar it was replaced immediately. Everywhere was very clean and there were lots of choices for breakfast. We didn’t use the gym or the pool/spa so I can’t comment. The hotel was situated about 20/25 minutes walk from the old town which we didn’t find a problem and there were 2 bus stops if you needed them to go to Trogir, the old town, the airport etc. We wouldn’t hesitate in booking again!"

"The uniqueness was just what we wanted in a hotel. The position in the Old Town was perfect. Just a bit noisy early in the mornings with the sound of small trucks moving around the immediate area and just below our bedroom window. This is not a hotel for the more elderly clients. There is no lift to the first floor and many stairs to climb to get to the first floor. Buy we found everyone very helpful and our room was clean and tidy. "

"For one I cannot recommend the spa enough. Both me and my other traveller had the best massages we’ve ever had and we’ve both had a lot in our time. The facilities within the hotel were lovely. Breakfast was a bit predictable but you could have varied it yourself as there was enough choice, including an omelette and pancake station. The room’s decor was not the prettiest but it wasn’t hideous. The centre was walkable along the beach from the hotel and it took about 40 minutes, I would say don’t stop on your way to the centre for a drink as I paid €7 for a coke at one of the places. My major problem is that the surrounding area was incredibly unappealing. It doesn’t do the centre of Split justice. There was abandoned and graffitied building sites right next to the hotel. As well as lots of building work going on around it, specifically right next to the beach club. Obviously, this is eventually going to be beneficial to the area as what they’re building sounds great. But makes for a rather disappointing experience and creates a lot of dust as well. "

"Small but nice and modern apartment right in edge of old town, walking distance to port and all tourist areas. Comfortable and quiet, a little tricky to find at check in as not well marked signage on building and have to walk up to third floor but check in staff were wonderful and made great suggestions of things to see."

"Cornaro Hotel in Split deserves high ratings on all levels especially the courteous and helpful staff without exception. They also fulfilled being a VIP Access hotel impressively. Breakfast named after emperor Diocletian and lived up to it imperially. The only essential service missing was a bellboy. Nonetheless, the hotel is highly recommended."

"Cute hotel on the south west corner of the very famous palace, right on the waterfront and where the action is. Had a beautiful sea view from my room. Very friends welcome. Mio took my bags up 3 flights of stairs!"
